First Character Sketch
I’ll have an update post here shortly. Even though the site’s only a few weeks old, it’s seen a significant increase in content, and there’s much to tell you about. Until then, I thought I’d share this:
According to Secret of Mana designer Shinichi Kameoka, this was likely the first sketch of the main characters. It was probably created late in 1991. The text says, “Seiken Densetsu.” Assets like this are rare, so a huge thanks to Kameoka-sama for making this available for us all.
Very cool! Randi’s hair kind of reminds me of a Pebbler monster lol.
I like how Primm’s initial sketch here she is smiling and then on the completed sketch in part 2 of the blog she looks annoyed.
