The Wind Never Ceases

Yet another track whose electric bass part gives it a soft rock feel.  This is the theme of the Lofty Mountains, and it’s an amalgam of so many other sounds from the game.  So much so, that I think it’s the most distinctly Secret of Mana track there is.  The remake’s take is strikingly, wonderfully retro, with a laid back fusion rock feel.  Clean guitars and the most polished arrangement on the remaster make this right at home with late 20th century cues.  I was expecting vinyl record artifacts over the fade out.
