The Dark Star

This is the ominous track that plays when the sunken continent rises, complete with tolling chimes and dramatic stringy lines that change key when needed. Unfortunately, the SNES audio hardware sometimes leaves out a voice or two due to a bug.  The Dark Star fits the precarious nature of the situation with its sense of persistence.  The remake does a nice enough job replicating the success of the original, though it’s yet another track with a noisy mix in the main section that doesn’t fit the material.
