Flight Into the Unknown
Flight Into the Unknown
February 28, 2021
As you traverse the skies on your very own dragon, you’ll hear Flight Into the Unknown. To great effect, Hiroki Kikuta covered the lower end with percussion and repeating bass notes, as he also did on tracks like Danger. True to the scene, the character of this is bouncy and soars with an organ playing a bright up tempo melody, eventually landing on a four bar sus chord. A track like this would be more out of place in contemporary games than others, but the remake left the retro feel intact, with a nice upgrade to the original sound.
